Description
The Sri Yantra Mandala is not just an art piece — it is a sacred geometric design that holds immense spiritual and energetic power. Also known as the “King of all Yantras,” the Sri Yantra has been used for thousands of years in Hindu and Buddhist tantric practices to bring about spiritual awakening, mental clarity, inner peace, and material abundance.
At Wheel of Life Art Gallery, our Sri Yantra Mandalas are 100% hand-painted by experienced Nepali artists who have mastered the ancient techniques of sacred geometry and Thangka art. Each line, shape, and color is crafted with care, patience, and spiritual intention. The result is not just a beautiful painting, but a living symbol of the cosmic structure of the universe.
🌸 Symbolic Meaning
The Sri Yantra consists of nine interlocking triangles radiating from a central point called the Bindu — the source of creation and the center of all energy. The upward-pointing triangles represent Shiva (masculine energy), while the downward-pointing triangles represent Shakti (feminine energy). Together, they create 43 smaller triangles, symbolizing the entire cosmos in a single sacred pattern.
Surrounding these triangles are lotus petals, representing purity and spiritual unfolding, and an outer square with four gates, which symbolize the earthly realm and the four cardinal directions.
